Whipsnade Zoo- Aylesbury surrounding things to see and do
Whipsnade Zoo is an ideal place for a day out. It is run by an international science-driven conservation charity. The two main highlights of the zoo are it is the largest zoo in the UK, and it is focused on animal conservation. Some visitors can be annoyed with these highlights because there is a huge area to cover by foot and sometimes you don’t get a chance to see these animals very close as they are not in the cages. Even though it is not a safari park, you can take your car inside and park in the different areas of allocated parking inside the zoo for an extra cost.
In my opinion kids will really enjoy this place because there is a large play area add an also a soft play which you need to book in advance. There is a steam engine train service which you can take the ticket on the site. To be honest I didn’t go around to the whole part of the zoo because we became so tired at the end of our visit, so it is a good idea to pay extra to take the car inside

We took the train and went around which helped to have a glimpse of camels, elephants, and some other animals too.

If you are on a budget trip, there are lots of areas for doing picnic. My kids really enjoy the picnic. There are lots of kiosk around for ice creams and coffee.
